Operation Street Smart on Thursday, April 29, 2010 held at the Richland County Longview Center at 1495 W. Longview Ave. in Mansfield, OH. The cost is $15.00 and the time is 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.   6 clocks hours will be given to those who complete the training.

The goal of Operation Street Smart is to provide current and up-to-date narcotics information on trends, terminology, paraphernalia, and physiological effects to those indificuals who deal with today's youth.   The program provides an opportunity to see actual examples of current designer street drugs and drug paraphernalia.

A portion of the program deals with prescription medications due to the easy accessibility in most households.  The entire presentation is back-dropped by a PowerPoint slide show depicting additional examples of the drugs being shown.
